Janssen Dental FAQs

What is our cancellation policy?

Please notify our office at least 72 hours (3 days) in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment. This courtesy gives our staff the opportunity to fill your appointment time with another patient. If you do not notify our office at least 72 hours in advance or you fail to show up for your appointment, we reserve the right to charge you for a missed appointment.

Do we accept insurance?

We will gladly file your dental insurance claim as a courtesy to you. However, please understand that Janssen Dental Clinic cannot control what services (if any) your insurance company will cover. You are ultimately responsible for all fees incurred at the time of service regardless of coverage decisions made by your carrier. We are not networked with any insurance companies.

Do we accept the CareCredit credit card?

Yes, we accept this healthcare credit card. Click here for more details or to apply for a CareCredit card.

Do we offer alternate financial arrangements?

Janssen Dental Clinic will be happy to discuss options to pay for services and fees prior to your treatment in order to avoid misunderstandings. Please ask us about financial arrangements in advance of your appointment if possible. We accept cash, check and all major credit cards.

Do we offer a pre-pay discount or senior discount?

Pay for your services at least a week prior to your appointment and receive a 5% discount when using cash or check, or a 3% discount using a credit card. We do not offer a senior or AARP discount.

Do we accept children and older adults as patients?

Yes, we do. Our staff is happy to provide dental services for patients of any age.

Do you accept special needs patients?

It depends on the level of cooperation we can expect from the patient. We cannot provide services for patients who require general anesthesia.

Is a referral needed as a new patient?

No referral is needed. We typically can get you in within a week or two, possibly sooner if a cancellation occurs.

How long is an initial visit for a new patient?

About 2 hours for an initial visit, including 1 hour for cleaning.

Do we treat dental emergencies?

Yes, although we cannot guarantee one of our dentists is available without an appointment. Please call first to inquire about availability or go to your nearest emergency room.

Is there a minimum age for sedation dentistry?

It depends on the child, but age 15 is our usual minimum.

Do we have a price list?

No, we do not. Charges are determined on a case-by-case basis and only after a complete examination.

How often you do you require x-rays?

We take bite wing pictures annually and a full set of oral x-rays every 3-5 years depending on the individual case.

Can I get all of my treatments completed in 1 day?

Yes, you can. We often provide this service for patients who travel significant distances to get here or have jobs that allow for short times at home. We have completed services over as much as 12 hours on occasion. Our staff will even provide transportation to and from local hotels if you are staying overnight.

Do you provide transportation for patients?

Our staff will be happy to provide transportation to and from our office when necessary for patients residing in the greater Green Bay area.
